The Norwegian organization “Hjelpekilden” (roughly translated to “Source for help”) is helping escapees from closed religious societies get a new foothold in life. In search of Nerdvana, I turned another corner. I got around to tackle the full range of colors in my Linux setup. I am running Ubuntu 20.04 on my Dell XPS 15 laptop. No desktop manager, just the i3 Window Manager straight on X. Most of my work is done in the terminal (urxvt). I have done many talks on science - especially on physics, chemistry, quantum mechanics and astronomy. One particularly fun subject is on the sizes of things in our universe - from the smallest building blocks inside of particles all the way up to grand structures of galaxies. Control your PC with your phone by voice. To get voice control running on my Linux laptop proved to be a mess. Running voice control on my Android phone was a breeze. Connecting the two is rudimentary. So now I can talk to my phone while on stage and the right presentation pops up on my laptop that sits on the otheer side of the stage.
